Benedetto Brunnhuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcello Igelmann having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Benedetto Brunnhuber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcello Igelmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jiri Aschinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karamanspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiri Aschinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcello Igelmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jiri Aschinger struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcello Igelmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamanspor. Nico Nitsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Gehling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcello Igelmann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Karamanspor's Jiri Aschinger shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jiri Aschinger in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcello Igelmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 42 minutes, Hajo Wehner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karamanspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hajo Wehner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Norman Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Jiri Aschinger made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Ibrahim Blecken got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hörenzhausen FSV's zone, Hajo Wehner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcello Igelmann came out of the goal and Hajo Wehner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Gehling in the 60th minute of play forced Karamanspor's goalkeeper Nico Nitsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Thorsten Wesler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Nitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Hajo Wehner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcello Igelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hörenzhausen FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Jiri Aschinger scored to the left of an out of position Marcello Igelmann, making the score, 0-4. The supporters of Hörenzhausen FSV booed when Karamanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Schüttler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Bartolomeo Mackenstein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nico Nitsch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcello Igelmann made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Hajo Wehner sent off a good shot on target. When Louis Hollinghausen fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karamanspor's protests and gave Louis Hollinghausen a yellow card for diving instead. Nico Nitsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Gehling in the 75th minute of play. Freddie Kranefuss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karamanspor's Louis Hollinghausen got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Louis Hollinghausen off the ground. Karamanspor:s Nico Nitsch showed great skill when he stopped Bartolomeo Mackenstein:s penalty. After 86 minutes, Stefan Reinartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karamanspor and the Hörenzhausen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stefan Reinartz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Hörenzhausen FSV's Thorsten Wesler made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Nitsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute of the match Bartolomeo Mackenstein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nico Nitsch skillfully saved the ball. Hajo Wehner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Karamanspor's Jiri Aschinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcello Igelmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcello Igelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedetto Brunnhuber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karamanspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
