Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Uwe Mehring got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Tüllinghoff's Benedikt Roemer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rainer Fesseler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Welterod's Rainer Fesseler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Bügen in the 10th minute of play. Angelo Brahms kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Wolfgang Laudan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Welterod's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Laudan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Jittler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Welterod booed when Tüllinghoff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Detlef Hennig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benedikt Roemer came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tüllinghoff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedikt Roemer couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Sülzner kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Harald Bügen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 minutes of play, Welterod's Wolfgang Laudan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Jittler was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tüllinghoff's zone, Jörg Ngo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Jittler came out of the goal and Jörg Ngo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Jittler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörg Ngo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harald Bügen was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Benjamin Sülzner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Welterod's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Sülzner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Jittler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Tüllinghoff got a freekick which was hit by Niels Bach. A collision led to Tüllinghoff getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Felipe Kempkes made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Welterod's Benjamin Sülzner. Welterod's Jörg Ngo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Till Anschütz in the 85 minute of the game. Jörg Ngo's late challenge caught a Tüllinghoff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörg Ngo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tüllinghoff booed when Welterod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
