With a little luck, Hamm's Arian Tremmel got control of the ball when Max Dambowsky tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hamm's Stefan Jahr in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borr's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Adnan Schwunk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hamm getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Chris Brinck hit a great ball. When Borr's Max Dambowsky in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hamm's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Borr's goal looked a bit too open when Jockel Scheffczyk came free, but Mario Jehle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Jehle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jockel Scheffczyk in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Hamm got a freekick which was hit by Jockel Scheffczyk. Mario Jehle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Jahr in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Borr got a freekick which was hit by Chris Hillenbrand. Chris Hillenbrand hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mario Jehle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jockel Scheffczyk in the 35th minute of the match. Hamm's Stefan Jahr got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borr's Mario Jehle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jockel Scheffczyk in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Udo Harpain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

59 minutes into the match, Hamm's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Saborowski came free, but Arian Tremmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arian Tremmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Saborowski in the 63rd minute of play. Arian Tremmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Dambowsky in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jockel Scheffczyk in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Jehle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Mario Jehle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. During the 70th minute of the match Jockel Scheffczyk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jockel Scheffczyk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Hamm's Jockel Scheffczyk got a free kick in the 71st minute. Arian Tremmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Dambowsky in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Hamm's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Saborowski came free, but Arian Tremmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hamm's zone, Benjamin Saborowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arian Tremmel came out of the goal and Benjamin Saborowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Stefan Jahr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamm's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Jahr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Jehle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borr fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Borr:s Mario Jehle showed great skill when he stopped Stefan Jahr:s penalty. When Chris Hillenbrand fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borr's protests and gave Chris Hillenbrand a yellow card for diving instead. Stefan Jahr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Dambowsky in the 99th minute of play forced Hamm's goalkeeper Arian Tremmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borr's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
