The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Hillsbach's Serkan Schneidewind got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Heinz Forst hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. FSV Leiferde 05's Sam Habel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Mayr in the 16th minute of play. Sönke Saßmannshausen's late challenge caught a Hillsbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sönke Saßmannshausen helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes FSV Leiferde 05 got a freekick which was hit by Sönke Saßmannshausen. The long shot by Andi Salisch in the 18th minute really tested Sam Habel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 19 played minutes FSV Leiferde 05 got a freekick which was hit by Sönke Saßmannshausen. After 22 played minutes Hillsbach got a freekick which was hit by Serkan Schneidewind. When FSV Leiferde 05's Markus Hundt in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillsbach's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Benjamin Mayr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hillsbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Leiferde 05 the free kick. After 29 played minutes Hillsbach got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Mayr. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Hundt in the 32nd minute of play forced Hillsbach's goalkeeper Albert Schlein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serkan Schneidewind kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, York Reckmaier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Leiferde 05's supporters crossed their fingers, but York Reckmaier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 played minutes Hillsbach got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Petermann. When FSV Leiferde 05's York Reckmaier in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillsbach's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 played minutes FSV Leiferde 05 got a freekick which was hit by Max Kremer. York Reckmaier took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Schlein. Albert Schlein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half FSV Leiferde 05 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Mayr made a kick off. Heinz Forst hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sam Habel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Mayr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Markus Hundt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Markus Hundt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Schlein. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. FSV Leiferde 05's Sam Habel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Kipping in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to FSV Leiferde 05 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Heinz Forst hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Eduard Biskup sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FSV Leiferde 05's Sam Habel didn't even have to move. Sam Habel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Mayr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Hundt succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, York Reckmaier took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Albert Schlein to make any attempt to save it. If Markus Hundt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FSV Leiferde 05's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
