Gabor Rieden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabor Rieden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Saborowski in the 14th minute of the match. Max Dambowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabor Rieden having to interfere. Benjamin Saborowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gabor Rieden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Max Dambowsky ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabor Rieden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Benjamin Saborowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Dambowsky struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gabor Rieden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borr. In the 27th minute, Benjamin Saborowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brum FC's Sven Miskiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Brum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Dambowsky came free, but Gabor Rieden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brum FC's Igli Schauberger got a free kick in the 35th minute. Benjamin Saborowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabor Rieden having to interfere. Gabor Rieden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Dambowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42ndth minute of the game Benjamin Saborowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brum FC's Gabor Rieden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Saborowski in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabor Rieden saved Brum FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Saborowski in the 46th minute of play forced Brum FC's goalkeeper Gabor Rieden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Saborowski was the one to do the kick off. Hartmut Prott received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabor Rieden came out and tried to block the shot, but Hartmut Prott slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. If Benjamin Saborowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Bach kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Borr's Benjamin Saborowski got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Saborowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gabor Rieden made a huge save. After 73 minutes Brum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heinrich Ulitzka who took care of the corner kick. 75 minutes into the match, Brum FC's goalkeeper Gabor Rieden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Dambowsky. Benjamin Saborowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
