In the 7th minute Taha Kurceren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Grabs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taha Kurceren took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Grabs. Manuel Grabs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, HBH's Renatus Nagy got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pleysteiner Landeier's zone, Gonzalo Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Grabs came out of the goal and Gonzalo Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Torsten Bostock threw the ball into play from the sideline. HBH's Sascha Andre Hopmeier quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gonzalo Tipi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Grabs having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Bauermeister during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Pleysteiner Landeier got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Bauermeister. Apollo Rix hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Taha Kurceren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Grabs. Pleysteiner Landeier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taha Kurceren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Remigiusz Wojtyna was a little too slow when Maximilian Bauermeister got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Tipi to strike the kick off in the second half. Taha Kurceren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 52nd playminute. In the 58th minute of the match, Taha Kurceren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Grabs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Taha Kurceren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Grabs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Taha Kurceren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Taha Kurceren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Manuel Grabs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sascha Andre Hopmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Tipi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Grabs. Gonzalo Tipi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 82 minutes into the game, Taha Kurceren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Manuel Grabs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 90th minute of the match Maximilian Bauermeister completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maximilian Bauermeister a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of HBH booed when Pleysteiner Landeier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Bauermeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Grabs made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gonzalo Tipi sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. HBH walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
