Spectators: 7029 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johan Korell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Markus Junker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Altvater, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Weste in the 6th minute of play forced Sieverslake's goalkeeper Markus Junker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Junker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Korell in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Lukas Mannheim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sieverslake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Solingen the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Sieverslake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Mannheim to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Union Solingen's zone, Sigurd Drengenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp Olowka came out of the goal and Sigurd Drengenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Union Solingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samson Körper to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Altvater kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Erhard Scherhag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erhard Scherhag in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philipp Olowka saved Union Solingen from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Erhard Scherhag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigurd Drengenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Philipp Olowka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erhard Scherhags short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Philipp Olowka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hannes Altvater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Junker having to interfere. In the 29th minute Sigurd Drengenburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Olowka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philipp Olowka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Chwalkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Weste took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Junker. Markus Junker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Dennis Zichmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Junker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Korell, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Markus Junker came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Union Solingen's Hannes Altvater. But to his dismay, Hannes Altvater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sieverslake's Erhard Scherhag got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Lung's late challenge caught a Sieverslake's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Lung helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Lung hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Sigurd Drengenburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhard Scherhag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Dennis Zichmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sigurd Drengenburg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sieverslake's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Weste came free, but Markus Junker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sieverslake's Erhard Scherhag in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Union Solingen's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Sönke van Hoddis put in a rough tackle. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sieverslake! The referee gave Union Solingen a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ulli Füngerlings, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sieverslake's Markus Junker. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Weste got free with Markus Junker in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philipp Olowka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhard Scherhag in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Ulli Füngerlings fired a really elegant long shot, but Markus Junker threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The supporters of Union Solingen booed when Sieverslake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhard Scherhag didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Marco Weste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Junker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 77 minutes into the match, Sieverslake's Dennis Zichmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philipp Olowka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipp Olowka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigurd Drengenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Edward Chwalkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sieverslake and the Union Solingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Chwalkiewicz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Erhard Scherhag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Lung kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Johan Korell put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Markus Junker.
