A collision led to HBH getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jorck Behlau hit a great ball. Sieverslake's Robbie Stelze managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Samuel Schultz in the 13 minute of the game. The supporters of HBH booed when Sieverslake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Stelze didn't get a good kick on the ball. HBH's Didier Garden quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sven Köstler, made in the 18th minute of the game. Markus Junker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taha Kurceren in the 19th minute of the match. Markus Junker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taha Kurceren in the 26th minute of play. Sieverslake's Markus Junker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sieverslake from getting a goal against them. During the 32nd minute of the match Robbie Stelze completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robbie Stelze a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 32 played minutes Sieverslake got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Stelze. Remigiusz Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigurd Drengenburg in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Taha Kurceren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Junker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Junker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taha Kurceren in the 40th minute of play. Dennis Zichmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Remigiusz Wojtyna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigurd Drengenburg charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigurd Drengenburg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sigurd Drengenburg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Gonzalo Tipi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taha Kurceren in the 52nd minute of play forced Sieverslake's goalkeeper Markus Junker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erhard Scherhag came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sieverslake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erhard Scherhag couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Sieverslake got a freekick which was hit by Sven Köstler. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taha Kurceren in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Junker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th of the match, Sigurd Drengenburg tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Remigiusz Wojtyna got in the way and made a wonderful save. Gonzalo Tipi took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Junker. Markus Junker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 95 played minutes Sieverslake got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Saborowski. Markus Junker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorck Behlau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, HBH could leave the field as winners, despite Sieverslake having more of the ball for most of the match.
