Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johan Korell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dirk Prott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Olowka having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Samson Körper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Müllerwiebus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lauro Müllerwiebus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erk Berger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hannes Altvater showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. If Dirk Prott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philipp Olowka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Müllerwiebus in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Union Solingen's Johan Korell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Erk Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Weste in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, Caperücitënn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costa Dülfer to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Olowka came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Caperücitënn's Lauro Müllerwiebus. But to his dismay, Lauro Müllerwiebus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Marco Westes short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Erk Berger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Korell in the 44th minute of play forced Caperücitënn's goalkeeper Erk Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samson Körper charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samson Körper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauro Müllerwiebus made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caperücitënn's goalkeeper Erk Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Weste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirk Prott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Union Solingen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mario Lung hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ulli Füngerlings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union Solingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caperücitënn the free kick. A collision led to Union Solingen getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ulli Füngerlings hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Mario Krapp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caperücitënn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Mario Krapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erk Berger came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Union Solingen's Marco Weste. But to his dismay, Marco Weste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After a rather tough play, Caperücitënn's Dirk Prott got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Marco Weste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erk Berger was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After 88th play minutes Johan Korell shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Erk Berger and just under the crossbar into goal. Union Solingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Dirk Prott scored to the left of an out of position Philipp Olowka, making the score, 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
