Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lauro Müllerwiebus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Georg Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erk Berger having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Caperücitënn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costa Dülfer to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Reinhold Eigen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Müllerwiebus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sascha Gehrig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Lorenzo Stoll fired a really elegant long shot, but Erk Berger threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Elmer Aist kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Erk Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Bauer's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 32 played minutes Caperücitënn got a freekick which was hit by Costa Dülfer. Lauro Müllerwiebus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Gehrig having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Reinhold Eigen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Erk Berger to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Bauer made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Lauro Müllerwiebus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caperücitënn's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Müllerwiebus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sascha Gehrig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, SV Ringelheim's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Krapp came free, but Sascha Gehrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Reinhold Eigen fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Ringelheim's protests and gave Reinhold Eigen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caperücitënn booed when SV Ringelheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhold Eigen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Ringelheim's goalkeeper Sascha Gehrig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimar Duttenhöfer charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimar Duttenhöfer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SV Ringelheim! After 71 played minutes SV Ringelheim got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Brütt. Erk Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Bauer in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Costa Dülfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Caperücitënn booed when SV Ringelheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Stoll didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Caperücitënn getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Erhard Kurth hit a great ball. Lauro Müllerwiebus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sascha Gehrig having to make a save. Dirk Prott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sascha Gehrig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SV Ringelheim's zone, Lauro Müllerwiebus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Gehrig came out of the goal and Lauro Müllerwiebus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caperücitënn's Dirk Prott got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SV Ringelheim's Lorenzo Stoll got a free kick in the 97th minute. Mario Krapp, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Caperücitënn were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
