After a rather tough play, FC Schneidheim's Claas Tiedemann got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sascha Andre Stindl might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Forster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sascha Andre Stindl ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, FC Schneidheim's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Andelfinger came free, but Adam Westerwelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sascha Andre Stindl in the 94th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Lars Forster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Galatasaray left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Schneidheim.
