Paul Tolkmitt started the match with the kick off. Paul Tolkmitt struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Helko Meisl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. After some careless play in the SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken defense, Paul Tolkmitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helko Meisl. The SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helko Meisl should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Paul Tolkmitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Tolkmitt came free, but Helko Meisl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes, Philipp Knop mouthed his way into the referee's book. Helko Meisl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Helko Meisl came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Paul Tolkmitt. But to his dismay, Paul Tolkmitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Helko Meisl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Tolkmitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalkeeper Helko Meisl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner. Jens Burmeister went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Borussia Dortmund's corner Jens Burmeister fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Helko Meisl quite easily take care of the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Paul Tolkmitt made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helko Meisl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens Burmeister took the corner. The SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borussia Dortmund were winning 0-7.

The wind increased when Philipp Knop made the kick off in the second half. Björn Kahn hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Paul Tolkmitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helko Meisl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Paul Tolkmitt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jens Burmeister put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Helko Meisl. Borussia Dortmund's Reynaldo Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Löhnert in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Hank Schrader. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Tolkmitt got free with Helko Meisl in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Burmeister came free, but Helko Meisl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Hank Schrader dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helko Meisl, 0-11. Paul Tolkmitt scored 0-12 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helko Meisl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund's Hank Schrader slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helko Meisl. That made the score 0-14 after 90 minutes of play. In the 93rd match minute, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Kahn to maneuver through the defense. If Paul Tolkmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helko Meisl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Bourgignon, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Borussia Dortmund's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
