The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paul Tolkmitt got the match started through his kick off. Marco Jacksch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Linke in the 3rd minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund's Paul Tolkmitt managed to work through Donnerschwee's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Paul Tolkmitt dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 4 minutes, Jens Burmeister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Burmeister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Donnerschwee's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Bourgignon came free, but Marco Jacksch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Paul Tolkmitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jacksch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Jacksch came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Alfons Bourgignon. But to his dismay, Alfons Bourgignon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Paul Tolkmitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Jacksch. Donnerschwee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Tolkmitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alfons Bourgignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Donnerschwee's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Linke came free, but Marco Jacksch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Jacksch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Sobbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Donnerschwee defense, Jens Burmeister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Jacksch. The Donnerschwee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Jacksch should have stopped the shot. Adam Schmidbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Jens Burmeister sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Donnerschwee's Marco Jacksch didn't even have to move. 0-5 became the score in the 32nd minute when Jens Burmeister elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Reinhold Zukrigl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Custódio came out of the goal and Reinhold Zukrigl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Donnerschwee's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Burmeister came free, but Marco Jacksch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Donnerschwee's goalie and right to Helge Rosenthal. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Donnerschwee's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 40th minute, Paul Tolkmitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Jacksch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Tolkmitt went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Marco Jacksch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Sobbe in the 44th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund's Paul Tolkmitt got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Jens Burmeister notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Donnerschwee's Marco Jacksch. Marco Jacksch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borussia Dortmund's Hank Schrader was substituted for Mathias Sobbe. After the first half Borussia Dortmund were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Torbjörn Claaßen made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Donnerschwee got a freekick which was hit by Adam Schmidbauer. In the 58th minute of the match Jens Burmeister sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Jacksch skillfully saved the ball. Jens Burmeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marco Jacksch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Burmeister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Marco Jacksch made a huge save. Marco Jacksch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Bourgignon in the 68th minute of play. Paul Tolkmitt in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Jacksch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's Jens Burmeister broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Paul Tolkmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Donnerschwee's Marco Jacksch got control of the ball when Paul Tolkmitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 minutes, Paul Tolkmitt made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. Donnerschwee's Marco Jacksch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Hank Schrader took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Marco Jacksch to make any attempt to save it. Hank Schrader recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Donnerschwee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borussia Dortmund were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
