After a rather tough play, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Björn Kahn got a free kick in the 7th minute. Werner Schäuble, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 15th minute Werner Schäuble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werner Schäuble took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helko Meisl. Helko Meisl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the last second Helko Meisl throw himself and got hold of the ball when Werner Schäuble in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 24th minute Werner Schäuble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helko Meisl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abi Ungerechts in the 25th minute. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Helko Meisl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Abi Ungerechts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Helko Meisl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 2-1 came in the 33rd minute when Gerd Löhnert all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Hossam Groeters. Abi Ungerechts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Helko Meisl made a huge save. Helko Meisl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Schäuble in the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abi Ungerechts to strike the kick off in the second half. If Werner Schäuble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Abi Ungerechts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Abi Ungerechts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helko Meisl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Werner Schäuble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abi Ungerechts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helko Meisl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Schäuble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helko Meisl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Arbogast in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Arbogast in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helko Meisl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kai Arbogast took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helko Meisl. Helko Meisl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Stoppenbach's Werner Schäuble in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute Abi Ungerechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stoppenbach had played much better football throughout.
