Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jostein Stumm to make the kick off. Pascal Terpe came free in the 86th minute and tried to tip the ball over Torsten Körner, but to the joy of Obertsloh's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 89th minute, Marco Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
