The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raik Reuß to maneuver through the defense. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Helko Meisl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 9th minute of play. Cem Özdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremy Dorn in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helko Meisl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clint Dujic hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Helko Meisl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Dorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Jeremy Dorn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Helko Meisl. Helko Meisl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Björn Kahn's late challenge caught a Mittelort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Kahn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute of the match Mittelort got a corner. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cem Özdemir ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalie and right to Jeremy Dorn. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jeremy Dorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helko Meisl having to interfere. In the 47th minute Jeremy Dorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

From close distance Jeremy Dorn pressed in the 0-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 56 minutes into the game. In the 63rd minute, Jeremy Dorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cem Özdemir took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helko Meisl. Helko Meisl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Helko Meisl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes of play SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Björn Kahn was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mittelort booed when SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Kahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Jeremy Dorn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mittelort fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 78 minutes, Juliusz Mosiniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mittelort and the SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken booed when Mittelort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Mosiniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeremy Dorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalkeeper Helko Meisl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremy Dorn. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Ditmar Pöhling with Jorge Fonseca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jeremy Dorn struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Helko Meisl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mittelort. Günther Thierse kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Jeremy Dorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jeremy Dorn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mittelort's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Dorn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helko Meisl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Brandin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mittelort played a much better game than SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken and deserved their victory. The SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
