Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) 5 minutes into the match, FC Lewix's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Ruthus came free, but Sebald Popp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebald Popp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Klingenbeck in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Lewix defense, Fabien Klingenbeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebald Popp. The FC Lewix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebald Popp should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Fabien Klingenbeck made a precise shot to the right of Sebald Popp. FC Lewix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Walter Ruthus notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Lewix's Sebald Popp. Sebald Popp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th match minute, FC Lewix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Grotthaus to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tsuneo Balland during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Rutkowski in the 26th minute of play forced FC Lewix's goalkeeper Sebald Popp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Tsuneo Balland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebald Popp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 38th minute Rudolf Rutkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Popp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebald Popp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Klingenbeck in the 42nd minute of the match. Sebald Popp came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by 1. SG Union Frankfurt's Rudolf Rutkowski. But to his dismay, Rudolf Rutkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Ruthus made a kick off. Sebald Popp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Klingenbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebald Popp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabien Klingenbeck went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Sebald Popp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Brecher went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Ruthus in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Lewix's goalkeeper Sebald Popp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play 1. SG Union Frankfurt's Tsuneo Balland was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th minute, Tsuneo Balland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolf Rutkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sebald Popp made a huge save. Sebald Popp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Ruthus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 80 minute of play. Nikolai Meul kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Rudolf Rutkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebald Popp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. The supporters of FC Lewix booed when 1. SG Union Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Brecher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebald Popp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Klingenbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FC Lewix's Sebald Popp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lewix from getting a goal against them.
