Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hartmut Daum got the match started through his kick off. Umberto Burke kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Jonathan Redda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebald Popp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Redda in the 11th minute of play forced FC Lewix's goalkeeper Sebald Popp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Tarkan Kretschmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebald Popp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebald Popp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kester Schilling in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Schwaben's goal looked a bit too open when Hartmut Daum came free, but Gerd Schwering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Schwaben got a freekick which was hit by Ty Bensch. The audience was convinced that Hartmut Daum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerd Schwering was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Kaspar Schulte elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sebald Popp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaspar Schulte went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Umberto Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Schwering having to interfere. Kester Schilling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, FC Lewix's goal looked a bit too open when Kester Schilling came free, but Sebald Popp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Kaspar Schulte made the kick off in the second half. Gerd Schwering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Burke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Sebald Popp managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Schwaben's Tarkan Kretschmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hartmut Daum in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerd Schwering prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Konrad Wittwer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sebald Popp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th match minute, FC Lewix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harm Fridrich to maneuver through the defense. FC Lewix were furious when Justin Wies was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lewix's zone, Ty Bensch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebald Popp came out of the goal and Ty Bensch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Lewix's Sebald Popp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar Schulte in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Umberto Burke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Lewix defense, Tarkan Kretschmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebald Popp. The FC Lewix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebald Popp should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, FC Lewix's goalkeeper Sebald Popp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kester Schilling. Sebald Popp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kester Schilling in the 85th minute. Hartmut Daum's late challenge caught a Schwaben's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hartmut Daum helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Lewix's Hartmut Daum got a free kick in the 89th minute. Hartmut Daum scored 1-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerd Schwering, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Schwaben left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Lewix.
