Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeremy Wenzel started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Unterhaching's zone, Georg Schweickert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Bürsch came out of the goal and Georg Schweickert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Basche's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Wenzel came free, but Anton Preuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Bolle in the 10th minute of play forced Unterhaching's goalkeeper Werner Bürsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basche's goalkeeper Anton Preuss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Unterhaching booed when Basche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Böttger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Bolle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Bolle came free, but Werner Bürsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theobald Simmling's late challenge caught a Unterhaching's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theobald Simmling helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Basche's Theobald Simmling got a free kick in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Georg Schweickert put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Werner Bürsch. Werner Bürsch was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Detlef Wright. Jeremy Wenzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anton Preuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Schulz's late challenge caught a Basche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Schulz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Unterhaching's Olaf Schulz got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Basche's Georg Schweickert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Werner Bürsch. Werner Bürsch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Alfred Ratzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 44 in the game by Georg Schweickert from a close distance when the talented Werner Bürsch managed to make a qualified save. Unterhaching's players were relieved. Anton Preuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Wenzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Raphael Bolle made the kick off in the second half. Werner Bürsch came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Basche's Raphael Bolle. But to his dismay, Raphael Bolle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Unterhaching's Werner Bürsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Bolle in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Bolle came free, but Werner Bürsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Georg Schweickert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Werner Bürsch was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 67 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Schweickert came free, but Werner Bürsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Werner Bürsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Bolle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Georg Schweickert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basche and the Unterhaching players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Raphael Bolle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Schweickert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Werner Bürsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Wenzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anton Preuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael Bolle in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Bürsch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Alfred Ratzmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unterhaching's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Ratzmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Preuss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Jeremy Wenzel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anton Preuss, passed just outside the right post. Jeremy Wenzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Preuss having to interfere. Basche's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
