Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Union Berlin's Ariel Renger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermann Zwingel came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rudolf Sebastiany could save by the left post. A collision led to Union Berlin getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vico Haußdörfer hit a great ball. Oeverich's Rudolf Sebastiany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Renger in the 17th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Oeverich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Franiel to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Sebastiany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Renger in the 26th minute of play. Rudolf Sebastiany came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Union Berlin's Hermann Zwingel. But to his dismay, Hermann Zwingel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rudolf Sebastiany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Renger, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Renger in the 42nd minute of play forced Oeverich's goalkeeper Rudolf Sebastiany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carl Franiel made the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Sebastiany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Renger in the 56th minute of play. Ariel Renger took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Sebastiany. Rudolf Sebastiany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Oeverich's Rudolf Sebastiany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Renger in the 68th minute of play. Carl Franiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Reik Peeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Ariel Renger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rudolf Sebastiany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armin Dehn hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Oeverich defense, Ariel Renger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudolf Sebastiany. The Oeverich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudolf Sebastiany should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vico Haußdörfer in the 83rd minute of play forced Oeverich's goalkeeper Rudolf Sebastiany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Sebastiany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Renger, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Oeverich's goal looked a bit too open when Vico Haußdörfer came free, but Rudolf Sebastiany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Ariel Renger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Sebastiany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Hermann Zwingel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rudolf Sebastiany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
