Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raphael Bolle started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Basche's Walter Eichel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Siebenbergen got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Göttling. 9 minutes into the game, Raphael Bolle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hansjürgen Kumpf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Böttger during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chris Böttger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hansjürgen Kumpf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Bolle in the 18th minute of play. York Marks kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Lennert Göttling's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Preuss firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anthony Töller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Schweickert scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hansjürgen Kumpf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Siebenbergen's Luka Ostermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Preuss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hansjürgen Kumpf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theobald Simmling in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Georg Schweickert made a precise shot to the right of Hansjürgen Kumpf. Siebenbergen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Hansjürgen Kumpf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theobald Simmling in the 35th minute of the match. Siebenbergen's Hansjürgen Kumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Wille in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Georg Schweickert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjürgen Kumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Chris Böttger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hansjürgen Kumpf. Siebenbergen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Böttger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Georg Schweickert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hansjürgen Kumpf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Theobald Simmling fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basche's protests and gave Theobald Simmling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 49th minute, Theobald Simmling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Anthony Töller made the kick off in the second half. Hansjürgen Kumpf made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Georg Schweickert sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Basche booed when Siebenbergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Kurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Basche getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Theobald Simmling hit a great ball. Hansjürgen Kumpf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Bolle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Eichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjürgen Kumpf having to interfere. Hansjürgen Kumpf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theobald Simmling in the 66th minute of the match. Georg Schweickert came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hansjürgen Kumpf could save by the left post. In the 69th minute Chris Böttger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjürgen Kumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Georg Schweickert made a precise shot to the right of Hansjürgen Kumpf. Siebenbergen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Anthony Töller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Preuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Töller, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 98 minutes of play, Siebenbergen's Anthony Töller made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Preuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Basche walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
