After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Klemens Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfB Deizisau's supporters rose to their feet, but Klemens Paula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Preuss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens Achenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Schweickert in the 8th minute of the match. Jens Achenbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Bolle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VfB Deizisau booed when Basche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Eichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Basche's zone, Klemens Paula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Preuss came out of the goal and Klemens Paula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Joel Caldas made a precise shot to the right of Anton Preuss. Basche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 23 played minutes VfB Deizisau got a freekick which was hit by Tjard Woltera. VfB Deizisau's Klemens Paula got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, VfB Deizisau's Joel Caldas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Joel Caldas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfB Deizisau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Caldas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Preuss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Klemens Paula showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Theobald Simmling's late challenge caught a VfB Deizisau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theobald Simmling helped the player get up and apologised. Theobald Simmling kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Walter Eichel fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basche's protests and gave Walter Eichel a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Basche got a freekick which was hit by Walter Eichel. Jens Achenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Schweickert, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Klemens Paula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klemens Paula made a kick off. Ekkehard Ressemann's late challenge caught a Basche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ekkehard Ressemann helped the player get up and apologised. Ekkehard Ressemann kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Georg Schweickert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jens Achenbach made a huge save. Jens Achenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Schweickert in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Raphael Bolle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Achenbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Klemens Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfB Deizisau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klemens Paula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. York Marks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens Achenbach. VfB Deizisau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Georg Schweickert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jens Achenbach made a huge save. Jens Achenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Bolle in the 74th minute of the match. Anton Preuss came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by VfB Deizisau's Klemens Paula. But to his dismay, Klemens Paula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Georg Schweickert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jens Achenbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Basche's Raphael Bolle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jens Achenbach. Jens Achenbach yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georg Schweickert got free with Jens Achenbach in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Detlef Wright hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. VfB Deizisau's Sydney Huch was substituted for Klemens Paula. In the 88th minute, Detlef Wright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edzard Rubeck charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edzard Rubeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. VfB Deizisau were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Basche for a fine match.
