Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Till Erkiner in the 35th minute of play forced Großgerstetten's goalkeeper José Römer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Großgerstetten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Schmalacker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. PK Hamburg's Steven Wicklein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Frank in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After 51 played minutes Großgerstetten got a freekick which was hit by Hagen Jäckel. Großgerstetten's José Römer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Butzer in the 52nd minute of play. Jürgen Kantel made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Josef Schmalacker immediately put the ball in play. Steven Wicklein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Frank in the 84th minute of play. If Axel Frank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Josef Schmalacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PK Hamburg and the Großgerstetten players grew even worse after the yellow card.
