Wismut Aue's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Harold Frentzen scored to the left of an out of position Anatol Klumpp, making the score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Wismut Aue's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Frentzen came free, but Anatol Klumpp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Gowitzke during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximilian Gowitzke kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Wismut Aue's Anatol Klumpp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korbinian Zeiler in the 14th minute of play. Theo Leibrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Strengmann having to interfere. Harold Frentzen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. In the 23rd minute, Tilmann Rostock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Starbulls Rosenheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tilmann Rostock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anatol Klumpp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatol Klumpp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Frentzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Anatol Klumpp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korbinian Zeiler in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Harold Frentzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatol Klumpp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Wismut Aue defense, Korbinian Zeiler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anatol Klumpp. The Wismut Aue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anatol Klumpp should have stopped the shot. Harold Frentzen succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Anatol Klumpp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Frentzen in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Korbinian Zeiler made the kick off in the second half. Starbulls Rosenheim's attentive Maximilian Gowitzke managed to snatch the ball when Tristan Lautenbach made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Ennio Strengmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentin Griefahn went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Florentin Griefahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Starbulls Rosenheim's Tilmann Rostock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anatol Klumpp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. A collision led to Starbulls Rosenheim getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Harold Frentzen hit a great ball. Anatol Klumpp came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Starbulls Rosenheim's Harold Frentzen. But to his dismay, Harold Frentzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Wismut Aue's Anatol Klumpp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korbinian Zeiler in the 77th minute of play. Anatol Klumpp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Frentzen in the 78th minute of the match. Anatol Klumpp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Frentzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Wismut Aue booed when Starbulls Rosenheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Anmerker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Tristan Lautenbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wismut Aue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Lautenbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
