In the 15th minute, Luigi Sonneborn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Krusenbusch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Harald Mühleck struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. PAOK's Heinrich Kleist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in PAOK's zone, Niko Ibraimkulova stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Mühleck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Mike Reimer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dobromir Jazowski during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
