The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfried Roth got free with Wenzel Mrozewski in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredi Feinbier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Konerding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredi Feinbier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Cohen in the 20th minute of the match. Fredi Feinbier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Großaga FC's Fredi Feinbier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Großaga FC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute of the match, Lutz Cohen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fredi Feinbier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dankward Jaeniche might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredi Feinbier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dankward Jaeniche ran back to his position shaking his head. The Großaga FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Tomy 68 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
