Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Stratmann kicked off to start the match. Walther Ketzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Piatek in the 4th minute of the match. Oberheukelbach's Walther Ketzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Jeziorkowski in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Football Club Leon's Piotr Kaufmann got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Cezary Jeziorkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Ketzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Oliver Heiermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberheukelbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Heiermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Jeziorkowski in the 20th minute of play forced Oberheukelbach's goalkeeper Walther Ketzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Oberheukelbach's Alex Schäfer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alex Schäfer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Oberheukelbach protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Schäfer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd minute, Alex Schäfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Tymoteusz Chazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Football Club Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tymoteusz Chazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oliver Heiermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulryk Piatek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Don Braunheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberheukelbach and the Football Club Leon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Don Braunheim hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Football Club Leon's Tymoteusz Chazon tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Football Club Leon's Ulryk Piatek got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walther Ketzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Piatek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Football Club Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Stratmann came free, but Daniel Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulryk Piatek kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Football Club Leon's Tim Legler was substituted for Adi Köhler. Ulryk Piatek hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Oberheukelbach's Walther Ketzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Piatek in the 78th minute of play. Walther Ketzer came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Football Club Leon's Cezary Jeziorkowski. But to his dismay, Cezary Jeziorkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Oberheukelbach's Walther Ketzer got control of the ball when Cezary Jeziorkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignatius Kessen hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Hagen Tempel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberheukelbach and the Football Club Leon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oberheukelbach's Hagen Tempel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Football Club Leon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oberheukelbach throughout the match.
