Caspar Finkel might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitrios Møller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caspar Finkel ran back to his position shaking his head. Lazarus Schmithuysen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thomas Haraszti kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Holzbein Kiel's Mark Saak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boubacar Thum in the 14th minute of play. Schechen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Caspar Finkel scored to the left of an out of position Dimitrios Møller, making the score, 2-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Caspar Finkel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holzbein Kiel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caspar Finkel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Thomas Haraszti took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dimitrios Møller to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the game, Thomas Haraszti lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Dimitrios Møller. In the 43rd minute Boubacar Thum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Saak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascal Vester succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 46th playminute.

The wind increased when Thomas Haraszti made the kick off in the second half. If Caspar Finkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitrios Møller came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Holzbein Kiel's Thomas Haraszti. But to his dismay, Thomas Haraszti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Haraszti in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitrios Møller saved Schechen from getting behind. Dimitrios Møller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Boubacar Thum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Saak. That made the score 6-2 in the 68 minute of play. Mark Saak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boubacar Thum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-3 in the 72 minute of play. Peppo Wahl kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philipp Rauscher during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Holzbein Kiel getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Philipp Rauscher hit a great ball. Holzbein Kiel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
