Alessandro Nies charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Nies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregor Kolber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Pagomari having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Winzer Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tonio Hasselbach. Dimitrios Møller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Trame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Boubacar Thum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Schechen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Loewenheim to maneuver through the defense. Wolfgang Trame scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitrios Møller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boubacar Thum in the 41st minute of play. Dimitrios Møller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfgang Trame went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Winzer Football Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boubacar Thum to make the kick off. Teofilo Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boubacar Thum in the 51st minute of play. Dimitrios Møller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wulf-Dieter Rennert in the 52nd minute of play. When Wolfgang Trame fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winzer Football Club's protests and gave Wolfgang Trame a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Winzer Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Wolfgang Trame. Winzer Football Club's Kord Sylvester was substituted for Wolfgang Trame. The supporters of Schechen booed when Winzer Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Trame didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winzer Football Club's Teofilo Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raoul Loewenheim in the 58th minute of play. When Wulf-Dieter Rennert fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winzer Football Club's protests and gave Wulf-Dieter Rennert a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Pagomari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Boubacar Thum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
