FC Tomy 68's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinneberger FC the free kick. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Tomy 68! Wenzel Mrozewski made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Alex Stratmann sent off a good shot on target. The Pinneberger FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Tomy 68 were winning 0-1.

Wenzel Mrozewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Stratmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 93 played minutes, Pinneberger FC's Patrick Schubert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wenzel Mrozewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pinneberger FC reached it. A collision led to FC Tomy 68 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dankward Jaeniche hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Pinneberger FC were the better team. Pinneberger FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
