Asmus Rabanus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 minutes of play, FC REAL BRAVO's Asmus Rabanus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Detlef Bühlert was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Motor Altenburg getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ronny Nagel hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes FC REAL BRAVO got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Makel. When Markus Mandel came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Motor Altenburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Mandel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC REAL BRAVO's Jo Weinkauff got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, FC REAL BRAVO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronny Nagel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Axel Krieger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detlef Bühlert having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Asmus Rabanus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Axel Krieger fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC REAL BRAVO's protests and gave Axel Krieger a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes FC REAL BRAVO got a freekick which was hit by Axel Krieger. In the 38th minute, Axel Krieger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC REAL BRAVO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Markus Mandel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toni Kamieth kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Benedikt Riepe stood somewhat misplaced when Markus Mandel came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 48 minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markus Mandel to make the kick off. Jo Weinkauff's late challenge caught a Motor Altenburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jo Weinkauff helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Jo Weinkauff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikt Riepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Mandel in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Motor Altenburg's Markus Mandel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 78th minute, Axel Krieger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Detlef Bühlert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Mandel in the 81st minute of play forced FC REAL BRAVO's goalkeeper Benedikt Riepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Mandel in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedikt Riepe saved FC REAL BRAVO from getting behind. When Marcel Makel fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC REAL BRAVO's protests and gave Marcel Makel a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Makel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. FC REAL BRAVO's Axel Krieger got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC REAL BRAVO's Asmus Rabanus got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes of play FC REAL BRAVO's Marcel Makel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marcel Makel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Markus Mandel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedikt Riepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
