Spectators: 8042 (Terracing: 6032, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Loramendi started the match with the kick off. Peter Kickulies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Wegener in the 5th minute of play. Laurenz Freye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Vittorio Grützmacher made a huge save. Elmo Thul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vittorio Grützmacher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Peter Kickulies came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Flachsberg's Fynn Baumgärtner. But to his dismay, Fynn Baumgärtner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Laurent Aist took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vittorio Grützmacher. Vittorio Grützmacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peter Kickulies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Loramendi in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Madenrreute's zone, Honorio Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Kickulies came out of the goal and Honorio Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Peter Kickulies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Flachsberg's Honorio Loramendi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Kickulies was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Dirk Barakat put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Flachsberg booed when Madenrreute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Barakat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Nathan Throm in the 55th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Peter Kickulies's left hand side. In the 57th minute, Honorio Loramendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charlie Vorreiter kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Honorio Loramendis short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Peter Kickulies to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Flachsberg booed when Madenrreute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurent Aist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Honorio Loramendi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Flachsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Loramendi couldn't finish the play. Hubert Hammer charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Hammer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flachsberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Madenrreute a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nico Drücker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flachsberg's Vittorio Grützmacher. 2-2. In the 71st minute of the match, Fynn Baumgärtner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Kickulies was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Peter Kickulies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Loramendi in the 72nd minute of the match. A hard shot 76 in the game by Honorio Loramendi from a close distance when the talented Peter Kickulies managed to make a qualified save. Madenrreute's players were relieved. Peter Kickulies made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lucio Garin sent off a good shot on target. Laurenz Freye kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Laurent Aist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madenrreute's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flachsberg the free kick. Honorio Loramendi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Kickulies came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Loramendi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 86th minute. When the match was over Flachsberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Madenrreute throughout the match.
