Louis Hensel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jannik Thomanek. Louis Hensel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fritz Heusel sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Gerold Grob recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Louis Hensel. Gerold Grob showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Hermann Dietz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luttermann FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann Dietz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cyril Kissling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Gerold Grob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Hensel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gerold Grob in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Louis Hensel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jannik Thomanek during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Luttermann FC got a freekick which was hit by Jannik Thomanek. Louis Hensel came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Luttermann FC's Leif Lieberwirth. But to his dismay, Leif Lieberwirth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, CSV Marathon Krefeld 1910's Louis Hensel got control of the ball when Gerold Grob tried to sneak it across the goal line. CSV Marathon Krefeld 1910's Louis Hensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulf Heimann in the 47th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Hermann Dietz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Louis Hensel to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

CSV Marathon Krefeld 1910's Louis Hensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Heusel in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Gerold Grob had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louis Hensel. CSV Marathon Krefeld 1910's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerold Grob was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerold Grob in the 62nd minute of play forced CSV Marathon Krefeld 1910's goalkeeper Louis Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Hermann Dietz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Pyritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renato de Kok hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Leif Lieberwirth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Luttermann FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Eisold. Louis Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Dietz in the 79th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luttermann FC had won after a very even match.
