Vittorio Grützmacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Flachsberg's Fynn Baumgärtner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascal Oppermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Loramendi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Oppermann saved Wacker Gotha 1895 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sergio Zsack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wacker Gotha 1895's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Zsack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vittorio Grützmacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Fynn Baumgärtner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pascal Oppermann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes Wacker Gotha 1895 got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Sponagl. Flachsberg's Stefan Diggs got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Flachsberg's Honorio Loramendi in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iker Kinkeldey was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Wacker Gotha 1895 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Sponagl to maneuver through the defense. Wacker Gotha 1895's Pascal Oppermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Loramendi in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Monty Moschner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vittorio Grützmacher was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Honorio Loramendi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Pascal Oppermann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wacker Gotha 1895's zone, Lucio Garin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Oppermann came out of the goal and Lucio Garin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Pascal Oppermann managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Flachsberg's Honorio Loramendi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Diggs got free with Pascal Oppermann in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monty Moschner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vittorio Grützmacher having to interfere. Monty Moschner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vittorio Grützmacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Honorio Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Björn Wegener came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Flachsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Wegener couldn't finish the play. Roger Tippenhauer took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Oppermann. Pascal Oppermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Honorio Loramendi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascal Oppermann. Honorio Loramendis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Pascal Oppermann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Björn Wegener got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pascal Oppermann handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Wacker Gotha 1895 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Moschner to maneuver through the defense. Flachsberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
