Madenrreute's Elmo Thul got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Charlie Vorreiter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madenrreute's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nein zu RB the free kick. After 4 played minutes Madenrreute got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Vorreiter. Rainer Maria Massaquoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Kickulies having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Madenrreute's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jennen came free, but Peter Kickulies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurent Aist got free with Gustavo Scarpa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Richard Fritzenwanker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Kickulies was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Peter Kickulies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Omilade in the 15th minute of the match. Gustavo Scarpa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elmo Thul showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Laurent Aist could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Gustavo Scarpa however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Madenrreute's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Maria Massaquoi came free, but Peter Kickulies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Madenrreute booed when Nein zu RB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Fritzenwanker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Kickulies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Gust, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Nein zu RB's Rainer Maria Massaquoi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Kickulies was left in no man's land by his defense there! Madenrreute's Peter Kickulies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Maria Massaquoi in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When Elmo Thul fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madenrreute's protests and gave Elmo Thul a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Madenrreute getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elmo Thul hit a great ball. Rainer Maria Massaquoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Kickulies having to interfere. Richard Fritzenwanker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Kickulies having to make a save. After having played for 71 minutes, Sebastian Jennen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nein zu RB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Jennen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Laurenz Freye fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madenrreute's protests and gave Laurenz Freye a yellow card for diving instead. Carsten Westerwelle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Elmo Thul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madenrreute fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Rainer Maria Massaquoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Peter Kickulies skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Laurent Aist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrick Gust recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Kickulies stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainer Maria Massaquoi's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
