Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Conrad Dötsch made the kick off which started today's match. Pär Buhrmann hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Joseph Jojade scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Frese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remo Totti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfried Lohmüller went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Asmus Glenz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Remo Totti was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Özgür Ostendorf. In the 14th minute, Fortunatus Liebsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, VFR Stommeln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Molkenthin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in VFR Stommeln's zone, Wilfried Lohmüller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Totti came out of the goal and Wilfried Lohmüller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo Totti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Lohmüller, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfried Lohmüller in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Totti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Puch's Gustav Grauslich got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, VFR Stommeln's Stephan Vollmer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Conrad Dötsch struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Joachim Frese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VFR Stommeln. After 34 minutes, Joseph Jojade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VFR Stommeln and the Puch players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfried Lohmüller was the one to do the kick off. Remo Totti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Lohmüller in the 53rd minute of the match. Flo Bontz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Remo Totti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puch. When Flo Bontz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Puch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flo Bontz couldn't finish the play. Remo Totti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flo Bontz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Lohmüller in the 62nd minute of play forced VFR Stommeln's goalkeeper Remo Totti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrad Dötsch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joachim Frese came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrad Dötsch slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 66th minute. Conrad Dötsch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Conrad Dötsch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 75th play minute Joseph Jojade came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joachim Frese. 1-3. Gustav Grauslich's late challenge caught a VFR Stommeln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Grauslich helped the player get up and apologised. When Joseph Jojade came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the VFR Stommeln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Jojade couldn't finish the play. In the 85th match minute, Puch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Buhrmann to maneuver through the defense. Wilfried Lohmüller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Totti having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Conrad Dötsch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joachim Frese, 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, VFR Stommeln's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Lohmüller came free, but Remo Totti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The VFR Stommeln supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VFR Stommeln would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
