In the 31st minute, Schachthalden's Nils Haaf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joachim Frese. Joachim Frese yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 36th play minutes Wilfried Lohmüller shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Uwe-Jens Kretschmann and just under the crossbar into goal.
