After some careless play in the VFR Stommeln defense, Horst Döhler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Heimann. The VFR Stommeln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Heimann should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthony Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Heimann. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Anthony Costa put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Heimann. In a very dangerous position, a player in VFR Stommeln fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Anthony Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patrick Heimann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horst Döhler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 29th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hangover 96's Stefan Paetz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Heimann. That made the score 6-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute 陈迅源 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Heimann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Stephan Vollmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Heimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Costa in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony Costa was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Hangover 96's Horst Döhler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Heimann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Patrick Heimann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to VFR Stommeln getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Stephan Vollmer hit a great ball. Hangover 96's Wladimir Klöser was substituted for Alvar Goldenbogen. Hangover 96's Claudio Schefer was substituted for Horst Döhler. Hangover 96's Bodo Michalak was substituted for Rupert Bullacher. In the 79th match minute, VFR Stommeln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Vollmer to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, VFR Stommeln's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Costa came free, but Patrick Heimann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Paetz in the 82nd minute of play forced VFR Stommeln's goalkeeper Patrick Heimann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Claudio Schefer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Heimann was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 90 minutes into the match, VFR Stommeln's goal looked a bit too open when 陈迅源 came free, but Patrick Heimann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Claudio Schefer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hangover 96 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Anthony Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Patrick Heimann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VFR Stommeln's Remo Totti got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Anthony Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Heimann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hangover 96 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
