Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ergün Molau kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Ergün Molau made a precise shot to the right of Gunther Schaub. Ludwigsburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Juniors's Bernd Bartsch got a free kick in the 10th minute. Günter Clemens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marcel Forberger made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, CA Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Sandor Bergsohn came free, but Marcel Forberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günter Clemens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Forberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Scheepers in the 17th minute of play. Günter Clemens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Marcel Forberger made a huge save. In the 19th minute Ergün Molau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Schaub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Forberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandor Bergsohn in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Overesch during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Overesch kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Leo Kafka, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31st minute, Peter Overesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Leo Kafka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunther Schaub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Ergün Molau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunther Schaub. Ludwigsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ergün Molau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. During the 46th minute of the match Peter Overesch completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Peter Overesch a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Ludwigsburg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CA Boca Juniors:s goal. The referee gave CA Boca Juniors a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leo Kafka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ludwigsburg's Gunther Schaub. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günter Clemens to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Günter Clemens put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Forberger. When Günter Clemens came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ludwigsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günter Clemens couldn't finish the play. Gunther Schaub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Hinsken in the 75th minute of the match. Gunther Schaub made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Uwe Hinsken sent off a good shot on target. In the 84thth minute of the game Günter Clemens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Boca Juniors's Marcel Forberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Kafka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günter Clemens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Forberger having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded CA Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ludwigsburg.
