Marcel Forberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek David, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. F.C COSMOPOLITAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Achim Darmstadt in the 12th minute. The corner led to F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Edmond Gaitanzis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marcel Forberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Wedel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Leo Kafka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Wedel in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Forberger saved CA Boca Juniors from getting behind. Şimşek David sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Boca Juniors's Marcel Forberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek David in the 22nd minute of play. Şimşek David received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcel Forberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for F.C COSMOPOLITAN. Achim Darmstadt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcel Forberger. 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, CA Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Wedel came free, but Marcel Forberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Philipp Della put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in CA Boca Juniors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 50th minute there was a penalty for F.C COSMOPOLITAN. Achim Darmstadt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcel Forberger. 0-2. After the first half F.C COSMOPOLITAN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, CA Boca Juniors's Bernd Bartsch got a free kick in the 54th minute. With his leg Marcel Forberger managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Armin Wedel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armin Wedel came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcel Forberger could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Marcel Forberger threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şimşek David, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Armin Wedel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Marcel Forberger made a huge save. Marcel Forberger made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Armin Wedel sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Şimşek David fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcel Forberger, passed just outside the right post. If Armin Wedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armin Wedel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marcel Forberger made a huge save. Batho Schebesta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. CA Boca Juniors's Marcel Forberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şimşek David in the 94th minute of play. Şimşek David received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Forberger came out and tried to block the shot, but Şimşek David slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 96th minute. Although CA Boca Juniors had been in control for most of the match, F.C COSMOPOLITAN still came away with the win.
