FC Köln's Enzo Neuhäuser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Köln from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Gärtner in the 4th minute of play forced 1. FC Köln's goalkeeper Enzo Neuhäuser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 7 minutes on the clock, Elmo Lack commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 13th minute Eggert Hertäg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Neuhäuser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Neuhäuser came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Greven United's Harry Ilius. But to his dismay, Harry Ilius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Dietzsch in the 21st minute of play forced 1. FC Köln's goalkeeper Enzo Neuhäuser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1. FC Köln's Enzo Neuhäuser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Gärtner in the 23rd minute of play. 1. FC Köln's Enzo Neuhäuser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Köln from getting a goal against them. In the 27th play minute Ingo Gärtner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enzo Neuhäuser. 4-0. Randy Ehlen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Enzo Neuhäuser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eggert Hertäg in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes 1. FC Köln got a freekick which was hit by Hubertus Gross. 1. FC Köln's Enzo Neuhäuser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Köln from getting a goal against them. Eberhard Strohfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Greven United's Eggert Hertäg got a free kick in the 40th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Harry Ilius in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1. FC Köln's Amerigo Boskamp. In the 48th minute Tim Dietzsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Neuhäuser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Enzo Neuhäuser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eggert Hertäg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Neuhäuser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Dietzsch in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Greven United's Tim Dietzsch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Neuhäuser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Enzo Neuhäuser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Gärtner in the 65th minute of the match. If Helmut Kuschel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Dietzsch in the 71st minute of play forced 1. FC Köln's goalkeeper Enzo Neuhäuser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Neuhäuser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Gärtner in the 72nd minute of play. Enzo Neuhäuser came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Greven United's Tim Dietzsch. But to his dismay, Tim Dietzsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 81 minutes into the match, Tim Dietzsch notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of 1. FC Köln's Enzo Neuhäuser. Enzo Neuhäuser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 played minutes Greven United got a freekick which was hit by Eggert Hertäg. Enzo Neuhäuser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Dietzsch in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Dietzsch in the 90th minute of play forced 1. FC Köln's goalkeeper Enzo Neuhäuser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Greven United's Ingo Gärtner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Neuhäuser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Robbie Rix hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Greven United's Helmut Kuschel tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Greven United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
