Martin Leibel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Krägelin having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Fortuna D FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raoul Ewert came free, but Lorenz Faber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dietrich Klein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Hubert Bäätjer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haulingort FSV and the Fortuna D FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Haulingort FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Bäätjer to maneuver through the defense. If Martin Leibel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna D FC's zone, Harro Deilmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenz Faber came out of the goal and Harro Deilmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eckart Rattinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hubert Bäätjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harro Deilmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lorenz Faber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benny Burger kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dietrich Klein might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Krägelin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dietrich Klein ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabian Krägelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietrich Klein, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
