Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rübeer's Beat Holtmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Bermel in the 9th minute of play. Edmond Bermel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Holtmann having to interfere. Ronald Baumgartner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Louis Jeschke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rübeer defense, Günther Lowe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beat Holtmann. The Rübeer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beat Holtmann should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Düingdorf getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fritz Link hit a great ball. Beat Holtmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Welf Länge's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Baumgartner during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Rübeer got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Baumgartner. Beat Holtmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Welf Länge, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Welf Länge took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beat Holtmann. Beat Holtmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Rübeer's Baptist Berlingen got a free kick in the 38th minute. Welf Länge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rübeer getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Baptist Berlingen hit a great ball. Beat Holtmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Welf Länge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beat Holtmann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Ronald Baumgartner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 57 minutes into the game, Baptist Berlingen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rübeer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düingdorf the free kick. 59 minutes into the match, Ronald Baumgartner notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Düingdorf's Louis Jeschke. Louis Jeschke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmond Bermel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Valérien Jahnke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rübeer's supporters rose to their feet, but Valérien Jahnke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Jeschke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Welf Länge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Beat Holtmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmond Bermel might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beat Holtmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmond Bermel ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmond Bermel struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Beat Holtmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Düingdorf. Beat Holtmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Welf Länge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Quabeck's late challenge caught a Düingdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Edmond Bermel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beat Holtmann was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Düingdorf's Welf Länge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beat Holtmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Welf Länge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
