The WenigeAaberVerrückt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantin Stein should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling François-Xavier Guichon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Sudhoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Konstantin Knispel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. WenigeAaberVerrückt's Raphael Dettmar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sigi Matthies in the 23 minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Sigi Matthies threw the ball into play from the sideline. WenigeAaberVerrückt's Vladimiro Domingo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Constantin Stein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Polenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. François-Xavier Guichon might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiko Sudhoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. François-Xavier Guichon ran back to his position shaking his head. If François-Xavier Guichon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Schätzle took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Stein. Constantin Stein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Schätzle to make the kick off. François-Xavier Guichon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Sudhoff having to interfere. Constantin Stein made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Christoph Polenz sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd match minute, WenigeAaberVerrückt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Jung to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Burgstaaken FC booed when WenigeAaberVerrückt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Hehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Joseph Schätzle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Constantin Stein. The goal made the score 1-5. Marc Martin hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Konstantin Knispel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heiko Sudhoff. Burgstaaken FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantin Knispel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Constantin Stein made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Egil Dürr sent off a good shot on target. Christoph Polenz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Constantin Stein made a huge save. When the match was over Burgstaaken FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than WenigeAaberVerrückt throughout the match.
