Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joseph Schätzle made the kick off and thus started the match. SV Neubeckum's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Hormes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiko Sudhoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Gereon Dingels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif-Eric Schubeus came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Burgstaaken FC's Christoph Polenz. But to his dismay, Christoph Polenz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, SV Neubeckum's goalkeeper Leif-Eric Schubeus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoph Polenz. In the 21st minute, Burgstaaken FC's Joseph Schätzle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leif-Eric Schubeus. Leif-Eric Schubeus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Burgstaaken FC's Joseph Schätzle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leif-Eric Schubeus. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. Egil Dürr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leif-Eric Schubeus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. SV Neubeckum's Leif-Eric Schubeus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Polenz in the 29th minute of play. Leif-Eric Schubeus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Polenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to SV Neubeckum getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gereon Dingels hit a great ball. Burgstaaken FC's Joseph Schätzle got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Joseph Schätzle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif-Eric Schubeus was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. SV Neubeckum's Harald Ziegler got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harald Ziegler might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiko Sudhoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Ziegler ran back to his position shaking his head. Leif-Eric Schubeus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamil Wohl, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. SV Neubeckum's Gereon Dingels got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SV Neubeckum's Leif-Eric Schubeus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Dürr in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Gereon Dingels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Joseph Schätzle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif-Eric Schubeus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Egil Dürr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif-Eric Schubeus. SV Neubeckum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Dürr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Johannes Kiefer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leif-Eric Schubeus. SV Neubeckum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arne Hormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Burgstaaken FC got a freekick which was hit by Kamil Wohl. Harald Ziegler didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-1 via right post in the game's 98th minute. SV Neubeckum's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The Burgstaaken FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
