Guti's Conrado Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Guti from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Conrad Krapols's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Medeiros was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Pausa SV's attentive Lars Rech managed to snatch the ball when David Auchter made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 39th match minute, Pausa SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meinolf Rahm to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Pausa SV's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Lendaa came free, but Mito Zahov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Sigurd Hutterer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Zahov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Lendaa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrad Krapols scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrad Krapols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Medeiros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristiāns Aunelis in the 73rd minute of play forced Guti's goalkeeper Conrado Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pausa SV had played much better football throughout.
