Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Morgan Hensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Schätzle in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Ottrau getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Elmo Schichholz hit a great ball. Joseph Schätzle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Egil Dürr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burgstaaken FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Dürr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morgan Hensel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes, Burgstaaken FC's Anton Baader shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Morgan Hensel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burgstaaken FC reached it. Enno Langer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Heiko Sudhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernst Holthuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Schätzle in the 19th minute of play forced Ottrau's goalkeeper Morgan Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ottrau's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Schätzle came free, but Morgan Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heiko Sudhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiko Sudhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Holthuis in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Burgstaaken FC's Sigi Matthies got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fulko Pressel might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiko Sudhoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulko Pressel ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Erwin Endrikat kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ottrau's Erwin Endrikat got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 94th minute Joseph Schätzle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
