The nice shot from Pedro Harris in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Morgan Hensel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tillmann Gorges put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Morgan Hensel. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Morgan Hensel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Morgan Hensel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tillmann Gorges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ottrau booed when Türkiyem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lucke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Türkiyem got a freekick which was hit by Michael Scheil. Florian Riegel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enno Langer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golo Kirchmer kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Holthuis was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Tillmann Gorges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Morgan Hensel. Ottrau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tillmann Gorges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 61 minutes into the game, Jörg Schaaf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ottrau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Türkiyem the free kick. Jörg Schaaf kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ottrau's Morgan Hensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egmont Gauweiler in the 70th minute of play. Morgan Hensel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Wallenhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egmont Gauweiler in the 72nd minute of play forced Ottrau's goalkeeper Morgan Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Wallenhorst in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ottrau's goal looked a bit too open when Tillmann Gorges came free, but Morgan Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
