Nikolaus Spranger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mito Zahov having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Lars Rech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthäus Birnstiel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 31st minute Conrad Krapols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Trumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magenta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Sebastian was slow to take the kick. During this time Pausa SV's players had a chance to rest. Ernst Trumpf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Krapols in the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Meinolf Rahm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pausa SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Meinolf Rahm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Trumpf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pausa SV's Josef Kludig got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Frank Hiller made the kick off in the second half. Lars Rech hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Conrad Krapols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ernst Trumpf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kristiāns Aunelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
