Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joseph Schätzle made the kick off which started today's match. Augustin Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Dürr in the 6th minute of play. Christoph Polenz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ovid Feller kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Burgstaaken FC's Joseph Schätzle got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Thomas Patzelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burgstaaken FC's goalkeeper Heiko Sudhoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heiko Sudhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Kilz in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Kamil Wohl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Augustin Schneider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Polenz in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Burgstaaken FC got a freekick which was hit by Egil Dürr. FC Statham 96's Noel Irtel got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Schneider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Dürr, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Thomas Patzelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heiko Sudhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murat Hoffmeier in the 44th minute. FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Dürr in the 46th minute of play. Noel Irtel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Statham 96! The referee gave Burgstaaken FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sigi Matthies, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider. 1-2. After the first half Burgstaaken FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murat Hoffmeier to strike the kick off in the second half. Murat Hoffmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieter Euschen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiko Sudhoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider got control of the ball when Jockel Bassen tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Burgstaaken FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anton Baader hit a great ball. If Franz Kilz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Burgstaaken FC's Anton Baader got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC Statham 96's Murat Hoffmeier tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Schätzle in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Polenz got free with Augustin Schneider in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Augustin Schneider successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 98 minutes into the match, FC Statham 96's goalkeeper Augustin Schneider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoph Polenz. The crowd rose to their feet as Burgstaaken FC's Joseph Schätzle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augustin Schneider. That made the score 1-5 after 100 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Burgstaaken FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
